I wouldn’t be surprised though if Benedict receives his first Oscar or Golden Globe nomination this year since he has like, four movies coming out in winter.
Totally agreed. Doubt he’ll win, though. The bureaucracy/traditionalism of these awards practically dictates that, much like my opinion that even if Martin Freeman is nominated for an Oscar for The Hobbit (any of the three), he will not win. He’s too new and niche.

Now that I have finally caught up on Cabin Pressure, here is my personal assumption on what happens next (stop me if you’ve heard this one):
Martin, completely at a loss as to what to do and living on borrowed time, goes to Theresa with his concern and asks what he should do, a la Herc and Caroline with Herc changing jobs.
Theresa, upon learning that MJN is in a state of perpetual near-bankruptcy and recognizing how much the airline and its people mean to Martin (and, of course, likes them herself as well), adopts MJN as their royal charter/silly version of Lichtenstein’s air force. Everyone keeps their jobs as they are, carting Theresa and her brother as they require and give them all stipends, in addition to continuing the airline’s usual business when Theresa and her brother do not need them.
Finally Martin, completely overwhelmed at the extension of gratitude, takes the final, freefalling step into being utterly smitten.
MJN and its cohorts stay together as they are, Martin keeps the girl and is no longer in need of money, Douglas and Caroline and Arthur are not left penniless and purposeless.
Regardless of details, I’m pretty certain Theresa is the out, here.
